| Traditions, A Rose of Sharon Embroidery Collection |
Nine Patch Media has partnered with KennyKreations to digitize the stunning collection, Traditions, A Rose of Sharon Embroidery Collection. The Rose of Sharon was especially popular in the mid 19th Century and was usually given as a wedding gift, symbolizing love and marriage. |

- The embroidery will finish at approx. 11" square.
- Blocks are trimmed to 12.5" before sewing in the quilt.
- The designs are appliqued with additional embroidery.
- All of the roses can be sewn in the 5x7" hoop; designs are also combined for the larger hoops.
- The swags are appliqued, and the roses and leaves are appliquéd and embroidered.
- Swags are 10.5" long. Template and instructions for making the swag manually are provided.
- You will be able to sew the swag in your embroidery hoop if you have a machine with a large hoop; otherwise you will need to iron the swag in place and satin stitch manually.
- You will be able to embroider these applique border designs using the KennyKreations applique method.
- Fabric Requirements for the Quilt are included and instructions for completing the quilt.
- Finished size of quilt is 58" x 71.5"
- Designs are also combined for the large hoops, including the Janome 11000 Macro Hoop, Pfaff CV and Husqvarna Diamond (VP3), Bernina 830 (EXP), Babylock Ellisimo and Brother Innovis, Quattro and PR Series.
- The Traditions Rose of Sharon quilt is designed for the Accuquilt GO! Cutter and Studio Cutter dies.

- You will be able to make these blocks using the KennyKreations applique method, if you do not have the GO! or Studio cutter. Nine Patch Media also has a set of Rose of Sharon Stencils that are sized for this embroidery collection.
- The KennyKreations Rose of Sharon Quilt is digitized under licence agreement with Sharon Pederson and Nine Patch Media. The project supports the Alzheimer's Art Quilt initiative, a volunteer driven grassroots charity whose mission is to raise awareness and fund research.
